Tarte Life of the Party Clay Blush Palette and Clutch Review and Swatches

The Tarte Life of the Party limited edition palette features an on-the-go kit of 1 bronzer, 1 highlighter and 3 blushers. The magnetised palette is removeable from the glitter clutch – quite the example of reusable packaging.

Let’s get into the review and swatches!

Swatches

Tan lines is a matte, warm brown bronzer. Subtle and adds just a touch of warmth.

Sandy cheeks is a silky, champagne highlighter. It creates a refined glow, without visible flecks of shimmer or glitter.

Pool float is a matte, watermelon pink blusher. The brightest blush in the palette, it translates as a subtle but buildable pink on the skin.

Passport is a matte beige blusher. Subtle on warm and fair skintones such as Revlon Colourstay in Buff.

Flamingo is a pastel pink blusher. Very subtle and better suited for fair and cool skintones.

The clutch is sizeable and fits a Samsung Galaxy Note10+, one of the larger mobile phones. The locking mechanism is sturdy and snaps firmly shut. I have not experienced any noticeable glitter fallout as the specks are sealed into the clutch. It sure is well made.

Final Verdict

The shades are silky, blendable and water resistant. The swatches stayed put when scrubbed with soap and water. The Tarte Life of the Party palette is better suited for those on the fairer end of the spectrum. I’m approximately Revlon Colourstay in Buff and Pool Float is the blush that shows up best for me. I enjoy the palette for the good highlight, bronzer and blushes. Another quality find from Tarte.
