L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipstick Review – Beige Sienna & Peach Dream

There was a period where Watsons kept placing the Colour Riche lipsticks line on sale. Back then I was still on my nude lippies kick and searching for the perfect nude lip. Picked up Beige Sienna (BP401) and Peach Dream (C402). Wasn’t blogging yet at that point so I don’t have pristine pictures of these. Please excuse the well-loved lip bullets! 😉

The line was repackaged a while back, but these colours are still available with the same name.

Both lippies are creamy and pigmented. Beige Sienna is a soft, dusky pinkish nude, while Peach Dream is a warmer, orangey shade.

Swatched on balmy & moisturised lips. My lips are naturally very dry, impossible to go without a balm or gloss coat.

Though pigmented, natural lip pigmentation (it’s genetic!) will show through. Be sure to use a concealer as a base to get the truest colour. It transfers and doesn’t last through a meal, so you’ll need to touch up. No scent.

Pros…

  • Pigmented & not too drying
  • Fades evenly, no awkward marks
  • Doesn’t sink into & emphasise lip lines too much
  • Comfortable & lightweight

Cons…

  • Can get uneven when swiping. I found dabbing motions to get the most even finish

Verdict…

I like them! Been using them regularly and for the longest time, particularly Peach Dream for some colour until I lost them with my makeup pouch.

Will I repurchase? Maybe, just not the same colours. I’ve found a great way to work a pink-red into the perfect nude & if you’re interested to find out, I will share it with you guys 😉 Won’t be searching for nudes anytime soon, they’re too much of a hit/miss.

What are your favourite lipsticks?
